I cannot recommend this fragrance-free shampoo enough. It has really contributed to my confidence. A week or so of washing my hair with this and my skin visibly looked so much healthier. It was a real game changer.
I would go as far as to say this shampoo changed my life, and I know how dramatic that sounds. Shampoo and hair washing were the biggest contributors to my skin problems, and I had no idea until I patch-tested for allergens.
This was the first shampoo I found that was fragrance-free, and I was amazed at how quickly the redness in my face reduced with a few washes. It was like my skin visibly relaxed.
How does this fragrance-free shampoo smell?
It’s a completely clear liquid. If you sniff the product, you’ll find it’s not scented, but it does have a slight chemical smell; that’s just the cleaning agent and is necessary.
How to use this apply this fragrance-free shampoo
Through trial and error, I found that this fragrance-free shampoo is best applied with a scalp massager.
When I first switched to this shampoo, my hair did get a bit greasy, but I didn’t even mind since my skin was so much happier. I’ve got very thick hair and can get away with a couple of washes a week, but when I switched to this, initially, I had to wash more frequently.
That did change for me, though!
The greasiness reduced once I washed with the scalp massager, and I was back to my normal wash schedule.
Another tip: definitely do two washes each time. I find it lathers better on the second round.
If you end up loving this product as much as I do I recommend buying fragrance-free shampoo in bulk. It’s cheaper and I decant it into smaller bottles.
Faith in Nature Conditioner
The conditioner is not fragrance-free, which is why it’s not listed on this site. The conditioner contains seed oils and coconut oil. Naturally, I don’t use it, but if you’re not as sensitive as I am, you could give it a go.
I recommend not using the conditioner, to begin with, seeing how your skin reacts to the shampoo only then introducing the conditioner to see how it goes.
To be honest, life without a conditioner is fine for me. I find the shampoo alone is surprisingly fine. I think my hair adjusted. Hairdressers have commented that you wouldn’t think my hair isn’t conditioned.
