Surcare Fragrance-Free Laundry Liquid
This is a great product and I feel very comfortable recommending it to anyone and everyone. All of my clothes and my husband’s clothes are washed in this fragrance-free detergent.
I find it’s plenty good enough for my clothes and even my gym clothes, but I do find my husband’s gym clothing might need more product.
I love Surcare. I wash all our clothes in it and my skin loves it. I find it is perfect for my clothes but my husband's gym kit might need a little more product.
How does this fragrance-free detergent smell?
The liquid is basically completely clear with a slightly yellow tinge, which is nowhere near as bad as it sounds!
Typical of a fragrance-free product, it does have that slight chemical smell. I would describe it as smelling a bit like chlorine. When you take your clothes out the wash they might also have the chlorine smell while wet but it doesn’t hang around.
How to use this fragrance-free detergent.
Use as normal and as the packet advises depending on the clothes and level of soiling. For a very smelly load, like gym clothes, I recommend popping in a little extra.
When the wash is done I advise getting them out and dried as fast as possible.
In my opinion, clothes washed in fragrant-free laundry detergent can end up getting that dried-too-slowly, mouldy-esque smell. I believe this is more to do with the fact that you don’t have th fragrances to hide behind rather than it being an issue with the actual detergent.
If you don’t have a place to dry clothes quickly, I recommend a heated airer. During winter it’ll be better than air drying.
